Dr. Abernathy earned her BS in mathematics from Alabama A&M University and her DDS at the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. During her two-year General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital in New York City, she worked with medically compromised patients and learned advanced dental procedures including managing dental emergencies. She constantly increases her knowledge and skills through continuing education, lectures, conventions and meetings. She hopes to meet you and your family soon.
